Why Real Ingredients Make These Muffins Taste Better
What I love most about healthy baking is that it lets real ingredients do the work. Instead of relying on white flour and processed sugar for all the sweetness and flavour, these muffins get their softness from ripe bananas, their tender crumb from almond flour and oat flour, and their cozy caramel notes from coconut sugar and maple syrup. Every bite has something real to enjoy: sweet banana, toasted oats, nutty almonds, golden crumble, and little chocolatey bites on top. They are sweet and comforting, but you can still taste the ingredients, not just sugar

- The sugar-free dark chocolate chips are optional. You can sprinkle them on top, or fold a small amount into the batter if you prefer.
- The crumble topping should look moist and crumbly before baking. If it feels too wet, let it sit for a few minutes so the oats can absorb some of the liquid.
- Store the muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for 1 to 2 days, or in the fridge for up to 5 days. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
